TESTIMONIALS

BELLE STEWART

Belle Stewart is an Australian media producer, photographer and educator with a three-decade career spanning film, visual arts and creative industries advocacy.

Stewart's professional practice operates at the intersection of strategic visual storytelling, circular creative economics and values-driven media production.

Professional Trajectory

Stewart's multidisciplinary framework commenced in the United Kingdom at Bristol’s Watershed Media Centre following graduation with a Master of Media Studies from RMIT University. Upon returning to Melbourne in the late 1990s, extensive engagement in film and television commercial production led to a strategic partnership with screen pioneer Tony Rogers, co-founding Triple Axel Productions.

Creative Practice and Cultural Advocacy

As a practicing visual artist, Stewart's principal photography series, Bodies of Water, examines ancestral connection. This creative practice involves rigorous collaboration with contemporary artists to document the relationships between public memory, family lineage and inherited resilience.

A commitment to fostering a sustainable, circular creative economy informs Stewart's active academic mentoring roles at RMIT University and LCI Melbourne. Within the advocacy sector, the focus remains dedicated to promoting social cohesion, partnering with prominent cultural institutions and producers, filmmaker Danny Ben-Moshe, Nina Sanadze, The Jewish Museum and COJA to deliver values-driven content that highlights shared histories.
